Locks of Love

Ava had long hair and she refused to brush it everyday. That meant tears and frustration when I had to get all the tangles out. I suggested that maybe we should chop her hair off and it would be easier to care for. She agreed and wanted to donate her hair to Locks of Love. This is a great organization that makes wigs for kids who don't have hair. Ellie said she wanted to also but I was hesitant. She's 3 and has never had a haircut. I loved her long hair but told her she could do it too. I figured that she would chicken out. She didn't.

I about fainted when I saw Ava but I'm used to it now. Here short hair suits her.

oh what sweet girls! I love long hair too, but don't they look so cute with those clean cut bobs, it shows off their facial features. And I can so relate on the tangles/ brushing out. You are blessed!

I am blessed! I really like the girls hair now. In fact, my daughters are growing it out again so they can donate again!

What gorgeous daughters you have! How utterly sweet:) I love the short hair on them. I've donated to Locks of Love in the past...such a neat idea!
