Update on cloth diapering
I.LOVE.IT!!! I am really enjoying cloth diapering Molly. We use prefolds, a Snappi and a Bummis Super Whisper Wrap during the day. During her long nap I also stuff a Cotton Babies microfleece insert.
Still using disposables at night but that will change when I get my fleece soaker, the Stacinator, great name ;) It should come this week. Lauren is also going to knit Molly some wool longies, like these, to wear at night over her prefold. Aren't they cute?!
I'm so glad we aren't putting disposables on her all day. I like knowing that we can just wash her diapers and not have to throw them away. I also like that she wears cotton and not chemicals on her bottom. I'm going to be switching Graedon over to cloth soon. Maybe it will help him to potty train faster if he feels the wetness. I'm not so excited about changing his poopy diapers. Yuck. But at least it is only once a day and I can put a flushable liner in it.k

Oh wow! More power to you! I think if I had it to do over again I might go this route!
It sound like a lot of work but definitely more safe for the Baby and the environment, I think that if I have a second one I will try to do this during the day.

Oh I loved cloth *most* of the time. Definitely nice on the wallet once you get your stash and really they are no harder then disposibles (especially in the newborn stage).
that is so great! I should do this too, but I don't know where to get started..
After 114 babies on disposables, I would have to quit caring for babies if someone said I had to use cloth diapers. I'm just tooooo lazy!

Never did cloth diapers but I just wanted to say that I was at a Trade Show about a week ago and I gave the Stacinator a feel and I am sure you will love it! I was intrigued by the fun name! LOL
