A quiet and loving place...
Okay - I'm not sure about the quiet part (I mean I do have my 6 kids here all day homeschooling, baking and generally playing) but I endeavor to make my house feel loving and comfortable. I want guests to feel right at home when they walk in. Feel free to kick your feet up and don't worry about breaking anything.
I'm not perfectly happy with my decorating skills but I am happy when I go into my living room, dining room, bathroom and school room. They seem to reflect my personality.

Here's looking from the front door. The dining room & kitchen is directly to your left when you walk in and the living room to the right.

My slipcovered red couch which I LOVE. My "desk/table" is in the corner in front of the windows.

I still want to get a round table for right beside that blue chair (in front of the fireplace). I also can't think of how to decorate the mantle. It needs something.
Tomorrow I'll show you what we did with the chandelier that I never liked. I LOVE it now and it only cost $1.00 to make it so.
